IF - Fat (Big Fat Post)
Yo-Ho! Chubby characters, and fat ponies are fun! So it was only natch that this weeks topic (fat) would send me into a chunky monkey frenzy. The first illo depicts the action going down in 'ol Sherwood Forest, followed by details of all the lovable little chubblets (Evil Sheriff, Robin Hood, Little John, Friar Tuck, and Will Scarlet.) Maybe it's a bit over-board, but there is no better way to celebrate the snazzy new Illustration Friday web site than with an all chunky cast of Robin Hood.

Great illustration, nice colours.
I really like your style, what program do you use?
OMG! These are awesome characters!!! AWESOME illo!!!
AWESOME illo!! all the characters are sooo much fun ! Love the design.
Haha, really cheers me up. Keep up the good and funny work!
What a funny concept, fattening up all the characters of a story. These belong in a book for sure. You obviously had fun with this, always great to see!!
Hah ha these are GREAT! I love the fat little pony LOL
BEAUTIFULLY done! Such a good design, well drawn characters, and so well rendered too.
wonderful colour and style!
Brilliant, David. Fantastic. :)
They must be Cherubian Angels with little wings attached to their back - or I find no reason how they hold up on the branches. I can even imagine a little angelic chorus humming coming from them.
Great fun to look at! Especially the precise hair cut of the pony.
what a fantastic green robin hood serie! Very clean work*~*

Your lovable little chubblets (great word by the way) are so plump and happy! Very snazzy indeed!
Ach! Fat merchants with fat loot! I'm kicking myself. I would have had so much fun with that. Nice work... I think my favorite characters are Fat Robin and Fat Horse.
Oh how I love that fat grey pony. I want him for my very own. I love this illustration.
Love it greta use of colour and vector. I'm challenging myself by doing my entries in vector lately too
Fat men in tights! That's classic. Awesome characters. I especially love the bloated horse, it looks like he's grimacing in pain from all of that weight.
You're a freak, you know that David. You always get you illustrations done and posted waaaaay before the Friday deadline...and they're kick-butt to boot. Maybe you need to go down to the nearest Kitchener watering hole and scoop me out whatever it is they've added to your H2O and send it down my way.
Great stuff Man-Dingo...I'm off to try my hand at watercolors (haven't used it in, oh, about 6 years).
Outstanding work Mr. Pickledog!
PICKLEDOG my love U rock!!! I love all these little chubby men. Too much. Most creative should go to YOU!!
