You have a wonderful quirky style. "Under the Sea" and "Spotted" are my current favourites!

David this is great! I love the soft blue shipwrecks in the background and it would be fun to meet a winking mermaid!!!

TCL, Thank you very much. I don't have anything published, yet. As to hints on my techniques... I keep a sketch book, and use a tech pen with blue lead. Then I work up my rough sketches using Illustrator and Photoshop with a Wacom tablet. I stay away from filters, and just draw and paint as I would with more traditional tools (pastels, paints, markers.)

Kaya, I'm so flattered that you have favorites. Thank you for visiting

Valerie, You are always welcome here at Pickledog.

Rectite 23, Thank you, it's great to see your wild avatar.

Great illo David. I especially like the subdued background. Adds major depth to your piece. The color palette is killer. Perfect for an underwater scene. Question: What is that grayish item sinking to the bottom? Is that a crackpipe? That might explain why this seaman is seeing flirty mermaids. I'm just sayin' is all.

Cool arse stuff as usual.
