IF- Twist

Oh my! I think I've missed Illustration Friday this week.

It really was no miracle what happened was just this, the wind began to switch and then there was a twist.. A twist!?

A twist to the Wizard of Oz.. what if Dorothy's house landed on the Lollipop Guild?

There's no place like Friday.. there's no place like Friday..

Makes me think of the Randy Newman song - "Short People got... no reason to live..." There's some interesting (and perhaps a little funny) political interpretations on the characters of Oz in Wikipedia.

Another aside - I met and have a picture with and autograph from the leader of the Lollipop Guild, Jerry Maren, who was also the Oscar Meyer's Little Oscar and Buster Brown. I'll try to find the picture. He was a very nice guy who'd probably enjoy this illustration. :)

Superbly awesome as always, my friend.

I love the little Toto. What a cute dog. I always loved the scene where the legs curled underneath the house.
