As many possibilities as there are for this week's theme, this is definitely one I did not think of...and haven't seen otherwise. Wonderful dimension making that ship feel nice and cramped...love the details from the stitches on his nose to the woodgrain and carvings. Me likes!

This is a great piece. I would love to see a whole book of illustrations like this featuring the many sordid deeds of Captain Black-goatee-and-slight-beard.

No! It's universal, sometimes it is sailors, sometimes shepherds... all the same theory. Anyway, He is content all the same.
Aaaawwww, he sleeps with a little stuffed octopus. Love all the details in this one, it really tells a story. I also love his striped jammies, very ad hoc.
Heehee, I like his cute little sleeping buddy, and I really like the sense of space you created in his curved ship environment.
Oh darn-I missed this one last week. Sorry David. My father in law always says that. Yup-I like it a lot especailly the squid snuggly!
